Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chopped chicken or shredded chicken
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 rib celery, diced
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt, more to taste
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill or ¼ teaspoon dried dill, optional

Steps

  1. Ensure the chicken is cooked and chopped or shredded.
  2. Dice the celery and thinly slice the green onion.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cooked chopped chicken, mayonnaise, diced celery, thinly sliced green onion, Dijon mustard, seasoned salt, black pepper, and fresh or dried dill (if using).
  4. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  5. Taste the chicken salad and adjust seasonings (salt, pepper, dill) as needed.
  6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. Serve chilled.
