8 oz. cream cheese, softened

1 cup marinara sauce
¼ cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
1 ¼ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
15 slices pepperoni
Crusty bread, for serving

Steps

Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream (ideally not cold to maintain a smooth consistency), garlic powder, oregano, basil, and the initial ⅛ teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
Spread the combined cream cheese mixture evenly on the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan, baking dish, or cast iron skillet.
Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce over the cream cheese mixture.
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and then the Mozzarella cheese on top of the marinara sauce.
Arrange the 15 slices of pepperoni or any other desired pizza toppings over the cheese layer.
Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the top begins to brown and the dip is bubbly.
Optionally, garnish the hot dip with additional red pepper flakes, freshly ground pepper, and roughly chopped parsley.
Serve immediately with crusty bread, pita/tortilla/bagel chips, or fresh vegetables.
